What to Expect on Your First Visit

Your first appointment is about understanding you — your health history, goals, and current concerns. We take the time to assess, explain, and create a plan that feels right for you.

1. Welcome & Check-In

When you arrive, our front desk team will greet you and help with any forms or insurance details. We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes early for your first visit to allow time for paperwork.

2. Consultation & Health History

Your practitioner will review your health history, discuss your main concerns, and ask questions about lifestyle, work, and activities. This helps us understand the root of your condition.

3. Assessment & Examination

A physical assessment may include posture evaluation, range of motion tests, orthopedic checks, or other measures related to your condition. We’ll explain each step before proceeding.

4. Report of Findings

After the assessment, your practitioner will explain what was found and how treatment can help. Together, you’ll review options and agree on a personalized treatment plan.

5. First Treatment

In most cases, treatment begins on your first visit. This could include manual therapy, joint mobilization, soft-tissue work, or an exercise prescription — depending on your needs.

6. Home Care & Next Steps

You’ll leave with advice for home care or exercises to continue your progress. Follow-up visits will be scheduled to monitor improvement and adjust your plan as needed.
