Advocates Who Listen

Guiding the FCSSAA on its mission to support its member programs, the role of the Family and Community Support Services Association of Alberta’s Board is:

  • To listen to its members’ challenges, needs, and aspirations
  • To identify common concerns and issues related to FCSS programming
  • To clearly and effectively communicate these issues to other member programs and to the provincial government, along with proposed solutions
  • To support communities by developing tools to decisively fulfil local needs and mandates

The FCSSAA has created the following document explaining our bylaws, ensuring that the value of FCSS resources, and the FCSS “way of working” is well understood by all levels of government:

Murtaza (Morty) Jamaly

President
(Westlock and District FCSS)

Bette Gray

Edmonton Rep for Edmonton-Evergreen Region
